Miltenyi autoMACS Pro Separator

Isolate cells directly from whole blood, bone marrow, or any cell type.

Isolate cells directly from whole blood, bone marrow, or any cell type.

Automated isolation of any cell type makes it ideal for applications such as flow cytometry, functional assays, or omics studies. AutoMACS Technology is the most trusted automated magnetic cell separation method available.

Features

This instrument uses MACS (Magnetic activated cell sorting), a bead-based technology available from Miltenyi, to isolate cells directly from whole blood, bone marrow or virtually any cell type from any species subject to antibody availability.

  • Can be used as an alternative or complement to droplet-based flow sorting
  • Housed in a Bio-safety cabinet allowing sorting of human primary material
  • Several modes of purification are available that revolve around the principles of positive- or negative- selection

Need more help?

Cell sorters are operated by TRI Flow cytometry facility staff within the Flow Core.

The units are housed within Biological Safety Cabinets allowing for sorting of human cells, human cell lines and virally transduced cells.

Units are temperature control which allows for maintaining the environment of the sample and sorted material.

For more information on instruments, services and facility charges contact the Flow Cytometry team.
