Spectral Flow Cytometer

The Cytek Aurora Spectral Flow Cytometer improves data clarity and resolution using autofluorescence extraction

The Cytek Aurora Spectral Flow Cytometer improves data clarity and resolution using autofluorescence extraction

Providing superior flexibility by enabling the use of a wide array of fluorochrome combinations without reconfiguring the system for each application, the Aurora system delivers high-resolution data at the single-cell level to resolve the most challenging cell populations, such as cells with high autofluorescence or low levels of expression of key biomarkers, regardless of assay complexity.

This new technology enables detection of the full emission spectrum, allowing it to distinguish similar emission fluorochromes (FITC and GFP or APC and AF 647).

Features

This instrument enables analyses of small to high number colour panels, with a 40-color panel published by Cytek, and 5 lasers (355nm, 405nm, 488nm, 561nm and 640nm).

  • 67 parameter instrument (FSC, SSC-B, SSC-V and 64 fluorescence channels)
  • Sample input tube type: 5 mL polystyrene tubes and 96-well plates
  • 40-tube rack or plate loader option
  • No APD gain adjustment required and no need to reconfigure optical filters for different fluorochromes
  • Fluorescence data is measured over a dynamic 6 decades of data
  • Autofluorescence extraction option
  • Live unmixing during acquisition
  • Small particle detection
  • SpectroFlo software for data acquisition
