Benchtop flow cytometer with extreme sensitivity and resolution

Easy to use, this machine is ideal for beginners and is the perfect machine to run cytokine beads assay with the plate loader.

TRI’s Flow Cytometry facility has two instruments available for booking:

  • Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX-S (CytoFLEX #1) – can be housed in a Class 2 Biohazard hood for analysis of Risk Category 2 pathogens
  • Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX-S (CytoFLEX #2 – GLYCOFLEX)

Features

With two Beckman Coulter CytoFLEX-S instruments available, each have 13 fluorescent channels and 4 lasers.

  • 4 lasers (405nm, 488nm, 561nm, 638nm)
  • 15 parameters (FSC, SSC and 13 fluorescence parameters)
  • Variety of sample tubes (1.5mL microfuge tubes, 5mL polystyrene and polypropylene tubes, plus adaptor for 1.2mL microlitre tubes) and 96 well plates
